Vancouver, British Columbia – Emgold Mining Corporation (TSX-V: EMR) (“Emgold” or the “Company“) announces the grant of 1.5 million incentive stock options (the “Options”), pursuant to its Stock Option Plan (the “Plan”), to directors, officers, employees, and consultants of the Company. The Options are exercisable at a price of C$0.20 per common share of the Company for a period of 5 years from the date of grant. Any shares issued upon the exercise of the Options will be subject to a statutory four-month hold period from the date of the issuance. The Option grant is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
