Emgold has 3.75 million shares in Troilus Gold Corporation (TSX: TLG). Troilus Gold owns the historic Troilus Gold Mine which produced 2.0 million ounces of gold and 70,000 tonnes of copper from 1996 to 2010. Troilus Gold acquired the property in 2018 with the goal of bringing the mine back into production. In 2018, Troilus Gold acquired the Troilus North Property from Emgold for C$250,000 in cash and 3.75 million shares, creating a 16,000 hectare (100 square kilometer) combined property representing one of the most exciting exploration and development properties in Quebec.
